Hi there. I am a Temporary worker with a closed work permit. My kids' visitor record is about to expire and I need to extend their legal status. If they apply for a study permit, would they fall under implied status after their visitor record expires? Thanks for your responses

No they would not have implied status
No they would not have implied status
Thank you. I guess I'll have to extend their visitor record first and then apply for a study permit. Is that right?

You can do both at once.
No they would not have implied status
Thank you again for taking your time to respond. Is there any advantages to do both aplications at once?

You have to apply for the visitor record to remain in status. Maybe I should rephrase this you can apply for both during the same time period.
