I have given IELTS 3 times in the last 2 months. I am falling short of 0.5 in reading and was wondering if submitting the result for rechecking will increase reading by 0.5. Do you know the cost of rechecking and how long it would take. I really don't want to give another IELTS. Below are my scores
Sending revaluation for reading or listening will do nothing as they are objective based responses. Revaluation helps only for writing and speaking. I guess they would have already double checked it as you have higher band difference in other sections.
Since you are writing and speaking seem to be very consistent, you should definitely give a retry practicing reading and listening well. I understand how stressful it would be, but it would be worth the stress as your score will jump by a lot of points if you get 8 in listening and 7 in reading (with 7+ in writing and speaking).
Thanks DEEPCUR. I am retaking the exam in January. I need to be consistent with S, L and W but will aim to improve reading. I wish I could just retake the reading module as I am happy with the others.

Yes definitely. If you are not short of money, go for it. I got similar scores in first attempt and got writing bumped by 0.5. But keep preparing, don't have too many expectations from EOR.
