IELTS & MEDICAL EXAM REQUESTED

Hi friends,

One of my friend who applied for his student visa to Canada, recieved a letter from the Canadian High Commission requesting his ielts results and medical examination. But the letter does not say about the required band score of IELTS exam.. Does anybody know what the embassy requires on ielts score?

thats simple what ever univesitys requirement usually if he is going for bachelor he needs 6.5 and no less than 6, and if he is going for masters he needs 7 bands no less than 6.5, thats the general requirement that varies with institution, tell him to contact his uni or college

He has applied for English Language for Academic Studies followed by Business Foundations programme ( 1 Year ). The college offered an unconditional offer and not requested any IELTS scores. The college website does not say about English language requirements for this course. That's why he wonder about the IELTS score he has to show to the canadian embassy. The letter he received from the Embassy only states that he has to obtain Medical exam and ielts results.

Please kindly clarify.

Has he ever took the IELTS if yes then tell him to send IELTS result if he never took the IELTS then usually embassy satisfies with 6 band score
