1. IELTS is an extremely important part of your visa file. It's something related with your 'level of establishment'. Absolutely, not a good idea to skip IELTS. Without IELTS, most likely you will only ensure your refusal.

Still, we have one member 'Arun2012' (or may be 'Arun2011') from India with approved visa without IELTS.

His profile: brilliant academic records, graduate from IIT (India's top ranking technical school), Ph.D admission in Canada with CAD 20,000 scholarship per year

Bear no one is avoiding Ielts or anything but my simple question is that when you file your student visa application to CHC Islamabad is Ielts necessary or not.

Dear enfield I just wanna confirm that Ielts in the checklist when someone apply for student visa or not? Because if some got admission letter from Canadian University and his University's 4 Years BS was in English and the University provide the Certificate as well so even though someone is required Ielts just for CHC Islamabad or not?

No IELTS is not the requirement of CHC... It is only requirement University.....

IELTS is mandatory for Univesity/colleges and also for VISA if anyone is planning to study in Canana from India or from non english speaking coutry

Hi myfriend applied in general with 5 bands in ielts in university and got refused.Even university accepted him with 5.5.
then again he applied with 6 .5 bands and approved without changing single document.
its live example for me.
