Hi All, I have applied for GSS ICT work visa on 5Mar22. Biometrics and medicals are updated in the profile early on. But there is no update since then. As per the current trend where visa is being approved around 2months time, can anyone pls let me know if there are any more updates in between ? I mean after medicals are updated and before visa is approved, were there any other timely updates like eligibility approved, etc? If so, can anyone pls share timeline.

I work in a global MNC with offices across the world. My company wants me to move from India to BC and is applying for ICT work permit under GSS. It does have a office in Toronto Ottawa and Calgary but not in BC and hence wants me to work remotely from there. Do you think that can be a problem for the work permit?

Attorney hired by your company could provide the best solution. IMO ICT can be applied even when company wants to open a new office.

You can expect your result post 60-65 days of biomatric. After medical passed all status will remain same and get updated with result

I applied online closed work permit on 10th March and biometrics done 15th of March, application starting from W30 and now waiting for decision. Do you think I will get medical request?

No Update since then

Can anyone please help us understand expected timelines of getting Visa Approved.

i have seen in a post by IRCC that upfront medical is mandatory to get 15 days Visa Processing or under GSS catogary .. is any one got PPR without medical in GSS catagory ?
