I have already done biometrics but now IRCC asks me to pay 85$ for biometrics. What to do?

I have a very specific question that I haven't found an answer to yet.
I have done my biometrics in 2019 but when I applied for my study permit application I didn't upload them because I clicked "Yes" when they asked me if I have done biometrics in the past.
Now IRCC sent me a message in my account with a request to pay 85$ for biometrics and I can upload it on the IRCC myAccount.
Since I have already done biometrics can I just upload my biometric fingerprints or will this result in a refusal or do I have to pay again 85$? But it won't make any sense since I already have my biometrics but I just didn't upload them and maybe IRCC doesn't know I have my biometrics.
I also can't find this specific biometric validity letter that many talk about. I only have 2 pages with all of my fingerprints and another page with my photo and 4 fingers (right thumb, right index, then the pic, then next to it left humb, left index).
Dude, that's a very specific question haha.
I know that if you have already done biometrics in the past 10 years, you don't need to do them again (This information is official and from canada.ca).
I'm pretty sure they're asking you for the receipt because you haven't uploaded your biometrics. I'm new to this forum so maybe somebody else can tell you what's going on.
What I'd do, to be on the very safe side, is pay the $85 and upload this receipt WITH your biometrics. You can always ask for a refund. But maybe somebody else knows more.
I don't know if this is the correspondence letter but I have 2 pages with my biometric photo and 4 fingerprints, my address, name, date of birth, date of fingerprints and then on the second page I have all my fingerprints and also all my personal information. I don't know if that is enough though

I did them in January 2019 at a certified office in Toronto, ON. I don't remember if I got more than 2 pages but the 2 pages I currently have are the ones I mentioned above.
Also I already applied for IEC visa with them in beginning of 2019 but this IEC visa was refused because I wasn't able to apply twice for the same IEC category.
But on those 2 pages I have a file reference number (DCN), there is also a stamp from Royal Canadian Mounted Police and all my personal information with all the fingerprints
I’m NOT an expert but i suggest you send them and explain your situation.I read there was a problem with a webform so use whatever is suggested yalz use.
in those 2 pages I have left it doesn't mention valid for 10 years. Regarding dates it just says
Date Fingerprinted: 2019-01-07
But I remember I asked if they are valid for 10 years and they said it was valid. I made them at the National Pardon Centre at Carlton Street in Toronto. They are government-approved so it has to be right, no?

but I still paid the 85$ and attached the receipt and also attached the 2 pages and a little letter with a small paragraph explaining the fingerprints when I did them etc

I still don’t understand how you got pages with your biometrics, mine was different i just went to the VAC and had to put my fingers on a scanner and on the same day my biometrics were uploaded in my gckey acc, they didn’t give me anything of that sort just a long paper and a piece of paper attached to my passport and later on i got a BVL which i believe i will use as evidence that i got my biometrics done for the coming 10 years.try calling them or send them an email.

Did you do them in Canada or in your home country? I got a pdf file with my fingerprints by email as well and a physical copy. If you tell me how you got your fingerprints it sounds so much better than mine. Maybe it was different because I did them in Canada in 2019.
anyways, I scanned 1 physical copy and the pdf file, I also attached the 85$ receipt as biometrics fee and I made a little explanation letter. my due date for those documents are 10th feb so let's see what they will tell me. If you want I can update you if they accepted my 2 letters.
Thank you for answering!! You are the best

Yes they will which is supposed to be followed by their final decision but nowadays it might take longer to get a decision with what i have read from other people’s experiences but just pray you get everything at once so that this nightmare of waiting comes to an end.
