My partner and I have already submitted her PR application at the beginning of November (spousal PR application + OWP) but we are very worried that her OWP will have the following restriction "1. Not authorized to work in childcare, primary/secondary school teaching, health service field occupations.". She wants to work in a school when she gets her OWP.
Can someone please give us some advice on what we should do?
My initial thoughts are that we can get her to do an upfront medical right now, and then submit the medical through the webform to update her application. The only problem I see with this is I am not sure how the medical would be linked to her OWP application, how will the government know she has actually done the medical?
Thank you very much in advance for anyone who can help!

It will definitely have that condition if a medical was not included.
Do the medical and send a Webform. If the OWP is issued with the condition, she would have to apply to change the conditions on her permit with proof of the medical.
Thanks for the fast response, that is definitely what we will do then.
I read elsewhere that some people are also able to "flagpole" and take their OWP to the border and then a customs official can change the OWP conditions on the spot. Has anyone else heard of people having success doing that? Or would customs get mad at us for wasting their time?
