How Much Time It Takes From Passport to Visa Stamped via VFS

Hello,

The passport is only needed to be uploaded to your online account (done via web form), I scanned this in colour and uploaded a PDF along with the PPR form and updated appendix. I sent two pictures in the post to the address given in the email as per the specifications along with a return envelope all recorded delivery with Royal Mail.

Other than that, just playing a waiting game at the moment.

Ahh I need to mail mine a copy of my photo page to Ottawa because I'm currently in Canada on an open work permit.

That makes sense, either way I think they accept both black and white and colour copies so either as fine as long as it is clear.

Yes visa stamping for different streams takes different amount of time and also it depends on the workload of NDVO.

Yes sometimes it can take a month to get your Visa stamped happened with people who submitted their passports in December. Keep a check on your application because most of the time your application is approved first in the portal and then passport is dispatched.

15 days ... I submitted on 16th Jan to VFS and got my passport back on 31st Jan ... Though approval happened on 29th Jan ..

Yes if she is part of application then yes she can submit the passport for both. You just need 2 consent form for VFS for each applicant, 2 photographs with stamp and date of photo studio and ofc your passport. Carry some cash in case you need to opt for courier.

Decision envelope has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 2020-03-09 11:52:28 AM GMT Standard Time vide courier partner. To track the status of the shipment, please visit the courier partner website.

Got the application approved on gckey account at the same time as well.
