How Much Time It Takes From Passport to Visa Stamped via VFS

Is it safe to book tickets for next weekend if passport submitted in CHD VFS on Monday and was transferred to Chd consulate on same day?
I heard they took max 5-7 working days to return the passport.

Lol dont do that. I would suggest to book tickets once you have your passport back. Right now it's taking longer than usual. My passport reached on 17th Feb and still waiting to get it back.

I got a msg saying my passport is dispatched from NDVO today March 6th.
here is my timeline
Passport Request - Feb 11th
Passport submitted at VFS (HYDERABAD) - Feb 12th
Passport reached to NDVO - Feb 13th
Visa under process at IRCC - Feb 14th
passport dispatched with envelope: March 6th.

Total 23 calendar days. 15 working days.

Does anyone here know what the 2 photographs are needed for when submitting the passport? Because as I understand there’s no photograph on the visa.

I also submit my file at vfs Jalandhar on 20 Feb 2020. 17 days spent vfs status ' file is being processed at ndvo Delhi'. Can anybody tell how much time it will take more.

Most of the files from vfs jalandhar goes to chd. Are you the express entry candidate?

TRV case can take upto month because they are transferred to New Delhi and NDVO is busy as hell these days. Don’t take stress, it will come soon. Just hope that it will come with a good one.

Yes it is true there are no photographs on visa but those photos are really needed for COPR. They stick it on COPR
