How long will CIC take to return my passport?

Hi all..I sent my passport with Canada Xpresspost post on May 29th, they couldn't locate my package for a few days and as such my package wasn't delivered until June 4th. There hasn't been any movement since. It was to get my PR Visa and COPR...weird question, but can they change their mind??

No way, they won't change their mind. Unless you gave them a fake passport lol

Application finalized and approved: June 6th, 2019
and its been a week that the tracking number has not be activated yet.
Should I call them? don't know what to do and i have a flight next week....

It is generally taking 2 to 3 weeks to get the passport back.

I submitted my passport on 27th May, and it was received on 28th May, and still waiting.

My application was approved yesterday. I didn't even got an email that it did. I just checked and I saw that it was. So just waiting on the passports now.

Based on comments above, it is best to call them. The numbers are given in few posts above. Best of luck.

Delivered June 4th
Approved June 14th

Now waiting on my tracking to be activated. Wondering how long it will take.

Hopefully it should be any day now. I sent my application on 27th May, delivered on 28th and still waiting....

They don't. You need to keep checking on Canada Post using the tracking number on your return envelope. Btw, did you write your address on the return envelope? I did not, as the instructions stated.

OK. I have not seen the Canada Post tracking not activated until today morning....3 weeks passed already!
