how long will be requested passport after CIC sent request letter to pay RPRF?

Hi all,
I have a question

i submitted my EE BCPNP on March 13 2015 with 1000points and medical results, on July 6th they request me to pay the RPRF,
i am wondering how long will they ask for my passport, and how long i can land in, thanks.

No, I didn't send. I am facing an issue as they want us to submit our Passport to CPC Ottawa. I am in India and my wife is in USA. Sending Indian Passport out of residing country by courier is illegal

Possibly some kind of useful information for you although it talks about UK and Saudi BUT at least give you some idea on things.

Thanks for your reply. I saw the link you posted but my problem is that I have already dropped an email to CPC Ottawa for changing my VO but didn't hear from them and it's been 11 days. I have only 2 weeks left for submitting my passport now I am losing my patience

My Father-in-law and Mother-in-law applied for visitors visa to Canada. They are visiting from India. The status on myCIC website is showing that the application has been approved for both of them and application status is “Closed”.

We have been waiting for their passport so that we can visit Canada. They need to leave for India first week of August and has limited time available to visit Canada. Please let me know when will they receive their passport.

Online Visa applied: June 8th,
Passport Requested: June 25th
Passport Sent to NY office: June 26th
Bank-Draft sent to Philadelphia: June 26th
Passport Delivered: June 29th
Status changed: July 2nd, Status: Closed, Visa has been approved.
Return UPS label is still not activated. Need to leave canada this Friday July 10th.

Please Help!!!

Have you tried to contact the Canadian Embassy in India? I guess you are wasting your time, sending emails to CIC doesn't mean that you can get a response in a reasonable time. Their turn around time is almost 30 to 35 days if they will ever respond. So you better try with the Canadian Embassy, they might be able to help - I learned that they can handle the passports delivery. Otherwise, you don't have any option but coming to Canada!

You are not alone. I paid RPRF on June 23rd. Still hear nothing from CIC. Are you applying outside Canada? I wonder if it is because that they are now focusing on inside Canada applicants, or sth went wrong, or they need to go through other formalities... The wait is definitely frustrating.

I have dropped a mail to CHC in India and waiting for reply. Hope I will get any positive response from either CIC or CHC. Going to Canada is not possible as for that I need to have visa. I believe sending mail to CPC Ottawa for changing VO is the correct process to follow but only concern is their turn around time
