Hi. I have applied as Federal Skilled Worker in Express Entry Program. I submitted my ITA in November, 2015. They cleared my medical within few days. Then, I was asked to pay my RPRF on 11th April, 2016. Last date was 18th April. I have paid and uploaded the receipt before the due date. All I want to know is that is this the last step before they'll ask for my passport? And how long will it take after I have paid my RPRF? Any help / guidance would be appreciable.

Yes you need to wait.

What status shown in your EE profile? Background "in progress"

I submitted my RPRF week back and my Background turned into "in progress"

When your Background check started? "in progress"

I keep seeing RPRF on this forum, what does it stand for?

Right of Permanent Residence Fee. Every principal applicant and his/her accompanying spouse/common law partner is required to pay a Right of Permanent Resident Fee (RPRF)

It is separate from application processing fee

Thank you, i had a feeling it was that, i had to pay that at the AOR stage.

just wondering...my background check states "in progress" but i was not asked to pay RPRF beforehand...i never paid for this...i only paid the processing fee upon submission of application

what comes first? pay RPRF then background check becomes "in progress" or the other way around?

Actually there is not any fixed time, few people got PPR in a week, while others in a month.

Share your Visa Office?

Please share your timelines. When you submitted your application? Your Medical Passed?
