How long after receiving the correspondence letter for biometrics, do you receive an answer?

Timeline:

Application submitted online: April 11th
Biometrics Letter: April 12th
Completed Biometrics: April 15th
Correspondence Letter: April 24th

Please share your timeline or how long you think it takes to receive an answer after receiving the correspondence letter please!

I haven't received any update on my minor daughter application.her biometric got done on June 14. VFS office jalandhar.the lady too told me that usually it's 10 days time plus minus ..but no update till now.its long weekend in Canada .so keeping fingers crossed for Tuesday onwards ..Her file was applied online on 8th June from Canada .

My timeline when I re-applied via paper application after my online application was rejected

Application submitted offline (Bangalore VFS) : June 3rd
Application processing started : June 4th
Biometric Correspondence Letter: June 20th
Application Approval : June 24th (2 business days after biometrics correspondance letter)

Hello everyone
I'm writting on this forum because I've been reading your comments about TRV process and I want to share my experience.
I applied for TRV on July 3/2019 on paper directly in VFS Global in Bogotá, Colombia. I went to Canada in 2012 but my visa expired that year however I was able to apply for TRV in CAN+ Programme so I did not have to present financial support.

My time line was like this:

- July 3 : Applied on paper in VFS Global - Bogotá / VAC
- July 4: VFS sent my application to IRCC
- July 10: Received an email from IRCC with the Biometrics Correspondence Letter (13:50 hrs)
- July 10: Linked my paper application to my online account and saw the Application Status: We are processing your application and we are processing your background check. (15:00 hrs)
-July 11 (today): Updated status in my online account. (14;00 hrs)
Final decisión: Your application was approved!.
Then I received a message from VFS that my Passport is ready for collection.

I'm very surprised that this process only took 9 days, but I guess its because CAN+ Programme

I hope this information is useful for someone. As many people have said in the fórums, after receiving biometrics letter, the final decisión is very close. I could verify it!
