Everyone is different. People I know have received visa approval confirmation and BVL for over 2 months and no PPR

So that means the expiry date is the deadline for you to be in canada?

Found it strange that the expiry date on the visa issued is less than the passport validity date.

But many times Canada visas issues have the same expiry date with the passport expiry.
