No, no matter what your expiration date is. You are only allowed to stay for 6 months per visit. That expiration date is for how many times you can be coming to Canada for 6 months stay and leaving. Idk if I’m making sense. You can only stay 6 months per visit if you’re on a visitors visa

It is normal. Some even sunday. Remember they are working online. This staff my just want to reduce his/her workload probably taking tomorrow off or doing half today and half tomorrow. Someone once get updated on sunday. So it happens. For your worry, put it aside. I noticed lately that the refusals are coming almost immediately alongside the correspondence letter(BVL).
