How long after receiving the correspondence letter for biometrics, do you receive an answer?

April 8 Submitted trv online
April 9 confirmation
April 10 biometrics letter
April 17 biometrics done
April 25 bio correspondence letter, same day they got approval and passport request!!!

I had the same thing. correspondence letter and decision made same day.

I have received biometric validity letter on 25th April, but still not get any further replies, can any one tell how much more time is required to send the decision?
I applied on 15th March through paper application and same day biometric was done.

One just ve to wait for they re decision...patient I believe cos is been over 74days since I reapply and ve not heard anything yet.

When I got the same reason for refusal that I won’t return back to my home country I reapply and wrote a letter to the refusal and authenticate it at notary public with other documents I submitted previously ...so I will suggest you reapply and chances of them giving you might change their decision from the previous refusal...you must show ties that will connect you to your home country ...ie an investment, business, asset...etc if you didn’t submit before try get those and attached

I wanna share my experience and the timeline (paper based)


Oct 28: I submitted my application at VFS, biometrics and photo was taken. Btw, I did medical upfront last sept so the results were already out ahead of time

Oct 28: They received my application

Oct 29: My application is under process at IRRC.

October 30: Received an email stating that my biometrics is approved and valid for 10 yrs

Nov 4: Study permit to Canada is approved. They informed me that my passport is ready for pick- up.

How did you know that your boyfriend got approved? Did he receive an email for visa approval? Or did you check it online?

I have applied for a study permit and my partner applied for a sowp 3 weaks ago . Today my profile updated with my partner's correspondence letter but not mine. Does this mean that his visa is refused ?
Shouldn't the main applicant get the letter first if both of us are approved ?

Which nationality?? I submit my visa paper application with my wife on 17 October Biomatric same day don and 05 November I received correspondence Latter and now still waiting for result
