My application started in April this year, both medical and police checked was done. Now the case was transferred to HKVO. May I ask your guys' opinion of when I should start shipping my stuffs?

I received a email from HKVO yesterday.

"Great News! Your application for Permanent Residence has arrived in Hong Kong. We are really looking forward to working with you on your journey to immigrate to Canada!"

May I know how long you guy got the DM notice? I am planning to ship my stuffs and don't know when should I ship as they are in the shipping storage now.

basically they start your application in March after doc resubmitted. and it took more than 5months for the medical to PCC?

My wife just got our DM today! She was a February applicant. For us, our background check status and final decision status was changed at the same time yesterday. Looks like they had started the background check a few months ago even though gckey showed it as not started.

March 8: ECAS IP
March 23: AOR2
March 23: PCC
March 28: MED
October 31: BGC (never showed In Progress, this is the date that showed Completed)
November 1: DM

Absolutely, I had to request GCMS notes in June and October because we were so worried something was wrong with the application. We didn't submit an updated Schedule A or Additional Family Information form when HKVO requested in AOR2 because there were nothing to update and had included them in the original application and online. And so we were worried lately whether it would affect the application.
