Hi all, just a question. My partner pleaded guilty for jaywalking last 2012. Do you think this will come out on the PCC? I mean, I'm ready to declare it, I just wonder if it would affect the approval. I have papers to show proof that he's paid the fine already.
(I know, it's silly but may still be part of his HK file).

Jaywalking is not a "recordable offence" in Hong Kong. To be safe, even if the HK Police Force does not issue CNCC to applicant, you can still pay HKD$75 to check your own criminal record. If no criminal record can be found, the officer will verbally inform you in a separate quiet room. If there is any record, they will mail the detail to you.
