Okay I want to hire my mother as caregiver. So, she gets counted in LICO family size already and then I add her salary on top of that?
You cannot hire your mother. There is a program for her to get PR and that is the PGP program. Most likely her application will be refused after she waits 3 years for processing. So she has ECA and IELTs. Thought you were hiring your daughter.

Yes she has her IELTS and ECA and also diploma in childcare. Program clearly says being related does not disqualify one from applying though. Even if there is a slight chance, should I not atleast try?

I always have Supervisa as a backup option anyways!

The issue is that parents have their own path to PR. She can try as processing is about 3 years but this is clearly a path for her to get PR.

My daughter already has a restricted work permit as a caregiver, and she wants to apply to Home Child Care Provider Pilot (Gaining Experience) since she will have only four months of experience this January 2024. Our doubt is that one requirement is to apply for a new work permit. The employer in this new work permit must be her current employer, right? Also, I am unsure how to manage the work permit period in this application. Her current work permit expires in March 2025. Any light on this, please?

I read the guide and it is an "Open Work Permit" under the "Details of Intended Work in Canada"....

can you apply for the pilot if you plan on taking care of your elderly parent / grandchild ? Like the grandchild attends your home daycare

So you are looking to hire a full time support worker to care for your parents? Or your child?

Hello pls I'm processing my relocation to Canada on home child care program, this coming year 2024 I need link to get who can employ me as living nanny because I need it to serve as my employer letter and to be able to work when I get there, because I'm applying under gaining experience pilot.
Pls another question is how much is application fee for family of 4?? I will be expecting the reply as soon as possible.
Thanks.

Getting a work permit from an eligible employer is a little tricky at this moment in time. For the Links you know the the regular sites to look for a job, like indeed.ca.

I’m looking to apply for the 2024 childcare pilot in the gaining experience class.

I’ve been employed in my childcare role for a few months now and am not sure how to fill out one section of the Offer of Employment Form. It asks for an ‘anticipated start date’ (section 5), as I’ve already been working in the role, how would I answer this? Do I set it as my retrospective start date or as January 1st?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Why are you filling out the offer of employment form? Start date can be January 1 if employer wants. When does your permit expire? Are you working in a home?

Hello, for dependent children (age 6 years). Should I fill a TRV application or study permit.
If I am to fill study permit it is saying I also need to fill custodianship guardian declaration form for minors. I am assuming this is not required as it seems it is for minor who are study without parents and require a guardian in Canada.

Please advise

Hi, my sister applied for the Home Caregiver Support Services Homecare SupportWorker Pilot: Gaining Experience category. She is the principal applicant and her hubby and kids are also coming. as dependents. will she need to apply for study and work permits for them outside of the PR portal?. She only submitted in the PR portal.
