Looking through my application, I noticed I need to make a couple minor edits. I went to
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp
and the forms are much much different than what I filled out. (the forms I filled out are like IMM 0008 (04-2010) E at the bottom, these have 07-2011 so they are really new)
I would make sure that you just print off and fill out new ones. I know it will be a pain, but it's likely that some pretty important things have changed since your copies were printed. In theory, you could go over each form question by question to check and see which questions have actually changed, but that would probably take longer than just starting fresh. I'm sorry you have to do it again..! :/
Oh man. This bites. CIC hates me LOL
So much for mailing this off to my husband today (finally got my fbi check)!
Glad I am so OCD about checking and rechecking though.
Sigh.
Make sure to print up the new checklist for both sponsor and PA. Ugh.
The page I linked above has both (region specific guides has the PA's checklist).
ETA, I misread. It looks like the old ones are good for a while yet: Previous versions of PR applications forms will continue to be accepted by CIC until March 31, 2012. I think I'll still fill out the new ones.

Some forms have remained the same. I went through and looked at the name of each (on the bottom) and a couple still had the 04-2010 or similar in it, the rest were new with 07-2011 listed.
I did notice one thing that I'm hopeful will help the process: For the Application for Permanent Residency (the sponsored person's application), after you fill it out, it has to be validated. When it's validated, you get a page with bar codes that has to go on TOP of the whole package (have to really read the new instruction page). What I'm assuming, is they get the application and scan these codes and it enters into their system what you input into the form...which would save a bunch of time from having the VO input it themselves manually.
It only took me 2 hours to move everything to the new forms and remake my table of contents so it ended up not being too bad.
Old forms are good until March 31st 2012, don't panic like I did!
Yeah.. i saw that too. I really hope the barcodes will expedite the processing. My questions is though, do you put both page 4 (the ones with multiple barcodes) and page 5 (which has barcodes AND my signature) of the application for permanent residency on the front of the whole package? Or just page 4?? I'm afraid that they'll think I don't sign the application for permanent residency if I don't stack them together..
Am I just going crazy here?? ???
