yours is more accurate, tnx nylalisa, i have another question i applied for us visa before but refuse also should i still put that?

Well technically that is the same question on that form about refusal... it says Canada or any other country... so if you answer yes you are to disclose the nature of it. I would put the reason why you were refused just to clarify..

As for my e-mail, I just like to be short and to the point... too much info and they start asking questions.. not enough and they think you are hiding something.. so I just put the facts.

TNX,I WOrried that if i put i applied for tourst visa bfre and didint put they will think im hiding something?should i stil put it even its nots important?

Honestly, I am hoping someone answers you on this. Personally I look at it like this, it is asked on the form whether you have been to any other country for any type of visa, so you are suppose to disclose it. Remember what is not important to you, maay be important to the IO and they may wonder why you didn't mention it. I would put it down, because you have nothing to hide...

ok tnx nylalisa,i will put it just to be honest, i tried to call the candian embassy manila just now, and the voice mail said , i wont be able to speak to any of thier staff. this waiting for another 2 weeksto get my file no. is driving me nuts,im so stressed right now, i will revise the letter, and send u again a sample,so u cn comment about it , tnx

Np, however, I can help...

hey one qn though..

In my case also, I applied for tourist visa and it got rejected. However we dint mention abt it in my PR appln. Our intention was, to submit my PR 1st and then submit my visit visa appln mentioning abt my PR. So my husband sent my PR appln 1st and then I submitted my visit visa appln the very next day, mentioning abt my PR and it got rejected also. Unfortunately due to postal delays, my visit visa and PR reached ND and CIC-M offices on the same day. So shud I send any email to delhi now stating this? Wont they knw that at the time of submitting my PR, i dint have any tourist visa rejected??? wont they understand that I mentioned abt my PR in tourist visa appln?

Yea in that case, it's a bit different because you submitted yours after the fact... I think what it asking is at the time of the application have you applied for and subsequently been rejected for the visa.

There are many questions like that, I mean in the sense that by the time your application is filed there has been changes. I signed my application in November but sent it in a week later... one question on the application is whether I have sent my spouse money... which technically at the time of my application I had not. By the time I sent it, I had in fact sent him money. So, long story short, I would say they will see the dates, and realize that you answered the question truthfully to the best of your knowledge at the time of the application.

Thanks a lot! I really hope they make atleast some sense in this!! To be precise with the dates, I had signed those forms on Aug 14th. At that time, I hadnt applied for any sort of visa. Unfortunately, both my PR and visit visa applns reached respective offices on Sep 1st, and my visit visa got rejected on Sep 7th. Obviously I cant mention all these in my PR, as my husband sent my PR appln to CIC-M on Aug 27th itself.. am still scared :( Hope delhi interprets these things rightly.. anyhw I ve indeed mentioned abt my PR in my visit visa. If they go check my visit visa file #, they l know it. They shud understand my intention and they shud realize that at the time of signing my PR appln, I dint submit my visit visa.

Yeah, I would worry, they will certainly link the two things together and timeline is clear... I am sure you will be fine.

Thanku. Only thing that might be a problem was, both reached ND and CIC-M on the same day. They shud just understand the postal delays!!

It should be common sense... regardless, you have the dates they are signed and obviously... one went to CPC-M and was held there for about 1 month and they other was sent to Delhi directly...
