Hi there, my wife got her interview on Jan 21st. needs to update the police records as well, could you tell me how long it takes? cause my wife was told when she requested that it takes about 14 working days and I seen in this board that some people have said two days? She was told that It could get an answer in a week or a month, regardless she won't know till she brings in the police records, she said the same thing about the lady whom she had the interview.
Hi luigui. The police certificate times vary depending on where you are requesting it. Havana appears to be the fastest but I also know where my husband is located that it takes over a month. How did the interview go? Did they tell your spouse that she passed? How long before was your interview schrduled? Did they ask for additional proof?

The interview went very well, she was told it could take a week or a month, the person whom interview just makes notes and recommend to the person whom reviews all the documentation that was requested on a email, in meanwhile my wife has to present her police certificate which is two weeks since has been requested, that doesn't stop the process of their decision, they just would wait to answer back once they have the police certificate, will hope that by mid or end of February this ordeal will be over, just feel very anxiety to buy a ticket for my wife.

Hoping this one gets through..my husband had his interview today and it last about 60 minutes, he said it went well and he was asked to provide a new police check to the embassy, the police check in Havana is taking 17-25 days right now to obtain. Does anyone know once the police check is submitted how long it takes to be contacted regarding the visa? i take this as a very positive sign in having the visa issued..do others agree?

Finally!!!! I just received an email. My wife has to report to the embassy with her passport and photos next week so she can pick up her visa!!! I can not put into words how happy I we are.
