Has most people been waiting 10 months in total or 2 months in Mississauga then another 10 months in Havana??

10 months in Havana. In my case we waited the 10 months got the interview date and the interview was a month later

Ya! My husband had his interview last monday and passed! He just needed to renew his criminal record before they would give him the visa. He got the new criminal record yesterday so he'll go to the embassy on Monday to pick-up his visa finallllly

Booked my flight today!!! Oct 12 until Oct 31st with any luck the interview will be scheduled and done by then!!!

Just back from Cuba after 10 days with my husband. We have heard nothing and will be at 9 months Oct 6. I plan to send an email to Havana then and call my MP as well but I expect the same generic response. My husband and I have decided that I will go back to Cuba until he gets his visa.

Hello all, Wondering if anyone is going to Varadero any time soon? leaving from Toronto - I have some clothes I collected for on of my husbands little cousins that I don't want him to out grow..

Has anyone ever been asked for the service contract that your spouse signed when requesting the police report and the agency where they requested it?

Just to give a little more detail. Havana is now asking me to have my spouse provide this document. Has anyone ever been asked for this. I thought that the police report was enough. Now they wanna see the contract signed when requesting the police report. Has this happened to anyone????

Did you figure out what that document is?
The only document I know of, is the 'receipt'/comprobante the Consultoria gave my husband when requesting the police check, but he handed that back when he went to pick up the check.

yes thats what it is. the actual contract they sign authorizing the consultoria to do the background check. thats what they asked for .

its not the receipt. its the contract/service agreement they all sign when requesting a background check.

Well we are at the 9 month mark as of today so I emailed Havana with no expectations and received an answer that in the next month we will receive a date for an Interview so it looks like they will make us wait the 10 months plus.
