Well we are at the 9 month mark as of today so I emailed Havana with no expectations and received an answer that in the next month we will receive a date for an Interview so it looks like they will make us wait the 10 months plus.

Hi Galano, today will be 7 months for us as well, we are in the same boat like you, I'm leaving in three weeks to see my wife, looks that we will be in the 10 months wait. How was your trip?

The trip was fantastic extremely hot and humid. Thank heavens for air con lol. It takes me almost two days to get there and the same to get home. The email is making me look at going back until he gets his visa. Perhaps The Havana gods will look kindly on us and give us an interview date soon. Wishing the best for all of us that are in the waiting game.

I just received my husbands interview date and it is in four weeks! We waited ten months and one week before we recieved our interview date.

quick question, when they tell you that you are on a waiting list for interview, how long uusually before they actually give you the date??? does anyone know?? and also , is it at the actual interview that they approve the visa?

I recieved my interview date one week after i was informed my husband would have an interview. But my file was in Havana for ten months and one week. I did notice that when i went to the cic website my file went from application recieved to in process so that would be a good indicator that u should find out soon if u see that.

Good morning windsorgirl, after reading this post from you I went to the CIC web site and my file was changed from Recieived to In Process over night, yesterday that update wasn't there. I hope that that visa is coming soon

Mine has shown in process since I was approved as a sponsor in Dec 2014. However today is also shows under my husband's application received the date it was transferred to Havana Jan 6 which is new.

Well, looks that they just did a maintenance/update on their web server, keep waiting
