They did not ask him anything at all. As soon as he went in they gave him back our application and all the proof. Then he was asked to fill out a form with my address and some other personal information which I assume they needed to issue the visa. He did not even talk to a visa officer just a Cuban who worked at the Embassy. He was there about 2 hours....longest 2 hours of my life!!

Yes but when u said when they initially called him did they say interview or?? Was it early morning call or late afternoon? Just wanna grab some kind of an idea

Hi,
When the VO called my husband they asked him to bring his passport as well as IMM5669 and IMM5406 because they said they did not receive them which I know with 100% certainty they were sent. I emailed these 2 forms directly to them. He received his call on July 9 for an interview on July 16. Our application was received on March 26 in Havana and on June 20 they started processing the application. After he received the phone call for the interview it said medical results received. Hope this helps!

When they called him they said for an interview. He got the call around 2:00pm. His interview was scheduled for 8:30 am.

I'm back from Cuba ! It was an amazing trip with my wife as always ! We had a wonderful week together.
Lots of people came to us to tell us how good we look together (my wife and me) and that they could feel the love between us.
People at the pool, at the beach, on the resort or even the staff at the hotel. I was thinking..."if only the Visa Officer could be here to see with their eyes!"

Return back home was heartbreaking, I dont remember crying that much. My wife was devasted, I was crying like a baby, it was very hard.

For the entire 3.5 hours flight, I was looking by the window, completely lost, in tears... I guess people in the airplane were wondering what happened with me !

now it's back to reality. The good thing, I can travel often and I plan to go back in September, so only a little than 1 month to wait.

I see more people that sent in March got their Visa ! If things continue at that speed, maybe I can expect my wife to have her visa in September,
before I return there.

Hope everybody's going well, I know the wait is very hard for everyone...

All people I know from March got the call from the embassy for Visa or interview.

Sandiva got a transfert date of April 19th and the Embassy contacted her for divorce certificate, that means they work on April's applications

LiaJoi File was transfered on April 23th, very close to Sandiva and my file was transfered on May 2nd.

I truly believe that if things continue at this speed, you'll get news in about 4 weeks and I should get news in about 6 weeks.

Exciting times ahead !!! Keep us posted and be strong, our turn's coming !

Hola everyone,

Thank you to everybody for your replies.
It is such a great feeling but I am not sure if it has really hit my wife and I.
I not to sure when she will be here yet! She will get her visa on Tuesday and we are thinking about a week or so later. She wants to say her goodbyes to the family in that time.
Things are going to to be a little slow for the first bit but the planning can really start now.
