No i am yet to submit details...what happened in your case? I see a post where you said you are also on Work Permit and applying for US Visa

I just filled for extension , I will start stamping once I receive approval. In my case I still have valid stamping but not sure whether I will get dropbox option or not

I am Indian citizen and staying in Canada on work permit. Want to schedule H1B stamping. Will I be eligible for interview waiver ?


Please let me know if Q1 below holds true for me(Q3/4/5 are YES for me). If I choose NO to this, its asking me to pay fees on next page and shows earliest available dates for scheduling of interview. Does that mean I need to have interview ? If so, after scheduling interview(first available at Toronto is Dec 5, 2022), is there any process to get earlier dates or get a interview waiver ?

Hello folks, I am planning to get my H-1B stamping done in Canada and this is an extension. My last stamping was in India in September 2022. I completed my PR landing process in February 2023 but don't have a PR card because the CBSA officer mentioned I have to apply when I move to Canada. Am I still eligible to apply for Dropbox appointment in Canada because I don't have an address or a PR card yet. My sister lives in Canada and I can use her address but I am not sure if it is acceptable to do so. I'd really appreciate if I can get some advice on this. Thank you all for your time.

Where do I check the Visa status now?

Check in this Link. Provide Passport and last name as NA for now which would show as No Status for now.
Once they receive the application, you should enter your passport and last name to get the latest status

It depends on what type of shipping you selected. For premium , they will send tracking number. For regular , you will receive email only when it's ready for pick up

For me the tracking number was issued after a day - it should be visible on the application portal, and would be also sent on the email

You no need to send I140 and perm copies for H1B visa extension, those copies are required only for petition extension.
