Because of the smaller yearly quotas for H&C and volume of applicants it is taking much longer to get from AIP to eCOPR. I would look back through the posts and look at date people received AIP and then got eCOPR. Based on your previous posts looks like the medical may be the only thing that is required for your application to be finalized given your spouse has been living and working in Canada for such a long period of time. When did you apply for spousal sponsorship? It is really up to you whether you want to keep both processing or try to save some money and withdraw the spousal sponsorship.
We literally just submitted our spousal application beginning of this year as there has been no further updates on the H&C since 2021. And yes, my husband has been living and working in Canada. We both have long term employment with same employer. It’s costing a lot each year to renew his TRP so we really need him to get his PR, hopefully this year

Still think H&C is likely to get processed first but you never know. Having AIP is the end of the H&C process so there is an approximate timeline until PR.

Not sure as I said which is why I think the H&C may be processed faster than spousal sponsorship but you never know. Also may depends on what information needs to be reviewed after AIP. Some may need proof of employment, savings, medical, etc. while others need less information. In general H&C needs urgent reform because there are way too many applications for the quota allocated.

Looks like it may be less clear what will be processed first H&C or spousal sponsorship. Assume your spouse now qualifies for spousal sponsorship or you would not have applied. Unclear whether he may undergo normal processing so just too many unknowns. Up to your family what you decide to do.
Tried to post about a copr I saw, but I can’t due to the message being flagged as spamming, but the other guy who spams can post insults consistently and it’s not flagged? So confused, it says to contact an admin.
Just saw a copr post
Timeline was - submitted October 2023,
AIP June 2024, COPR April 10 2025, P1 and P2 April 10.
Although it’s just 1 in 45,000 I’m hopeful ircc will start processing again. Wishing all of us patience and luck as we navigate the uncertain ircc times.
