Pls when did u apply i applied and how long did it take ? I applied in feb 2025 and still not heard from them

I applied WP after receiving AIP in 2023 and got it after almost 6 months.

Have you not received AOR? Processing other than AOR is typically is starting closer to 15 months and results are often taking over 2 years.

so i got to know that IRCC is issuing COPr to people in other programs the only program where they haven't been issuing COPr is under H&C, Does anyone have an idea why this is so please?

Yes ,IRCC is issuing COPRs to Express Entry applicants every day.

They have been issuing eCOPRs for people in H&C just very slowly and in lower numbers than previously because of reduced quotas.

I came to Canada in 2016 as student. I also got Co-op work permit at same time. I was not able to get study completion letter due to some reasons. Got TRP and visitor record in 2019. Applied for extension of visitor record but refused .
Applied for H&C in 2022, got refused in May 2023. Applied reconsideration, file reopened but again refused after several months in March 2024. Again applied H&C in August 2024.

I am caring for my Husband’s Cousin’s kids since September 2024. So just wondering if I can apply under new Homecare worker Program?

You've never claimed refugee status so it sounds like you would qualify. Assume you either have the paid work experience or education required. Make sure your cousin meets the income requirements and be ready to apply as soon as the program opens for those out of status.

They meet income requirements but only problem is they paid me by cash. I declared cash income to CRA but haven’t received NOA yet.

I'm not sure how this will work out. I guess you can try and see what happens. I'm assuming they were paying you a regular salary that would be expected for this kind of job. If asked later on in the process, you should be prepared to provide additional evidence. For example, your cousin should be able to provide bank statements that show regular cash withdrawals for the salary you were paid. I would not provide this evidence with your original application however.

I also assume you are not under a removal order.

I think you should give it a go by preparing your documents. And you are not on removal order right?

I am not under any removal order.
We are living on same address. Also, they provided me support letter for H & C , in which they mentioned about I am caring for their kids.

I asked my H&C lawyer to apply for this program but he is saying that there are only 150 spots under this policy and thousands of people applying for it. It is not gonna worth applying . He is saying me to stick on H & C application only.

I just got back from an Ontario Service, I applied for Ontario Health card with my AIP, it's all good, but just remind you guys....they will give you for One year only, starting from the AIP date. My AIP letter is dated 23/07/2024.
My Health card expires on July now.
At least I got few months

What they told us at service Ontario was that we could bring the same AIP letter to renew our health card when it expires if we didn't get confirmation of PR before the expiry date.

Same here i have friends that also got AIP last year but everyone is waiting to get their COPr too even thkse that have recieved comfirmation of adress request, so where did he see people getting COPr under H&C. They are only giving it to express entry people
