first email was passport and identity 7 nov 2024

i got my Aip in 7 january 2025
medical 20 february 2025
adress confirmation 7 of march 2025

applied ontario health card on Aip and i got it on mail last week


waiting for portal my office is niggra falls !

You can apply for an Ontario health card (OHIP) with an "approval in principle" letter from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) confirming your eligibility for permanent residence.
You can apply at a ServiceOntario centre.

I got my AIP on July...I was waiting to finish the process to apply, but since is taking too long I'll apply for OHIP today.

I just got back from an Ontario Service, I applied for Ontario Health card with my AIP, it's all good, but just remind you guys....they will give you for One year only, starting from the AIP date. My AIP letter is dated 23/07/2024.
My Health card expires on July now.
At least I got few months

Really congrats so does this mean they have been working on second stage since but choose not to give out COPr to some people? I actually thought they paused the second stage. This can be really frustration honestly

We have seen some people get eCOPR but at a much slower pace. No evidence H&C is paused.

It doesn’t seem like they actually do any progress for a while. This is for second stage what we see in this forum so far.

Thats good at least now we know nothing is wrong with second stage they just choose those they are willing to answer

Unclear if they are actually choosing. Assume it is much more likely that there is a very long queue of people in line for eCOPR.

If you made a refugee claim, you are not eligible.

I never made refugee claim.

so i got to know that IRCC is issuing COPr to people in other programs the only program where they haven't been issuing COPr is under H&C, Does anyone have an idea why this is so please?

They have been issuing eCOPRs for people in H&C just very slowly and in lower numbers than previously because of reduced quotas.
