lets say if there is a "rule" -special treatment for Ukraine people, she would be prepared for you since January. Like called IRCC or added more solid evidence. Really, you need a more serious talk with her, ask her every step of her work. Otherwise you wouldn't know where went wrong.

Im in toronto they processed my application in Niagara but I received a refusal from Vancouver , my layer said that,I am very disappointed - but there has been a serious change in the humanitarian decision -making - they are turning down many cases that would have been approved in the past. OMG, wait. I know what you mean. Because my mother is suing people she doesnt speak french or English. I am in charge for her. If you are in Montreal, Legal aid is useless, it depends on the person's work ethic. I emailed them every week but they were lazy to reply. So i paid a private lawyer to start the case then waiting for transfer mandate.

if i were you, i would order a gcms note right away, and DIY the second case.
I did my case without an immigration lawyer, because immigration business is mud water. you barely can moniter lawyer's moral and work.
And remember, No one can tell a good story of yours better than yourself. If you dont have money, and legal aid is helpless, why not try to trust yourself.
