I applied April 2020 got refused today my lawyer said there is a new rule in H&C they’re refusing approved application. Because of Ukraine crisis.

are you sure they have this new rule ? i don't think so maybe the lawyer lies !

have you talked to your lawyer? what he/she said ? Maybe he/she fucked up your case and tried to avoid responsibility? I have seen so-called 'lawyers' done like this.

Please can you share all your timeline ? did you apply for JR for asylum case decision or PRRA during the H&C application process ?

My husband waited 2yrs to get aip apply 2018 aip 2020 and 2022 portal email waiting now for the card my dear it’s a nightmare to wait that long I know the pain you feeling right now but don’t give up

May i know what was your h&c arguments in general ? establishment, or best interest of the child or hardship ? did you put articles, reports, pictures, letters.... to prove your grounds ? are you a failed refugee seeker ?

How come takes two years you gotta refused could be something problem
Tell me little bit about your situation if you don’t mind
You can appeal or send a reconsideration
Reapply there are so many options still available

Im in toronto they processed my application in Niagara but I received a refusal from Vancouver , my layer said that,I am very disappointed - but there has been a serious change in the humanitarian decision -making - they are turning down many cases that would have been approved in the past. This is a new hard-line policy
