Hi all. My mother's H&C application has been in process for almost 22 months now. No AIP yet and we're past the normal processing time of 21 months. I applied for GCMS notes in December which said Eligibility and Security "not started" but information sharing and criminality passed. No other notes on application in the "Notes" section regarding the application. . Is this normal? I was expecting to at least see some activity in the notes section showing progress.

Hello Everyone, what documents they usually ask us to submit for stage 2? I just want to be ready to not lost any more time when that time comes.

Thats good if it's not started, better than not passed try calling them every few days and bother them... tell them they reached processing times and eligibility has not started... request status update, involve MP... clearly IRCC is not doing its job once again... they are sitting on the case, if eligibility is not started after 22 months it means officer has not started review process yet. Unacceptable.

I think they are purposely doing it since they dont wanna approve any H and C application for parents,like Kate mentioned in the previous comment,keep bugging them,call their call center,involve MP,web inquiry,involve your lawyer if needed,if refused apply for reconsideration,even go to Federal court for Judicial review if needed because thats what I will do,I am not going to win them so easily,
for my mother its almost 19 months now,still no response from them except the AOR,very frustrating…

Ridiculous! How IRCC is playing with applicants and do not comply with processing times listed on their website. They dont even feel uncomfortable about nonsensical processing times posted on their website weekly + they dont feel bad using copy/pasted refusal reasons that are identical from case to case. I dont know why we pay these officers thousands of dollars to do what? Give us copy pasted refusals generated by AI?
