Is paying tuition fees and purchasing GIC in advance (before applying for study permit) mandatory in case of university admission (Concordia University)???
I am from India and in University checklist its mentioned that paying fees and purchasing GIC is stronlgy recommended. Is it strictly necessary???
Congratulations!
Even I got visa on May 10th for Sept'13 intake.
Bt I have a query, the document no. mentioned in my visa is different from doc no. mentioned in the pdf CHC letter.
All other info is right.
How is it for you?is it alright?

In the application guide it was mentioned that the documents should be placed in the following order,
Scan all documents in ONE SINGLE PDF File, in the following order:
I. Signed copy of the Scotiabank Student GIC Program Application Form.
II. Copy of passport pages (photograph page and the last page with signature)
III. Copy of acceptance letter from a Canadian educational institution
All copies MUST be signed by the student
Is it mandatory to place them in the same order. I placed in the following order I,III,II ...
Also in the subject line should we give our name ,passport number and DOB ?
mate why are you creating confusion to urself and asking same question again and again?
visa officer only wants u to have a GIC & proof of money for ur tution..
if already paid then fee reciept,
if u have a loan sanctioned then sanction letter
& if u have a sponsor then bank statement of six months showing consistent liquid & sufficient funds for ur tution fees..
out of abv 3 it is recommended to buy GIC & pay fees
