I am an express candidate and waiting for invitation to apply PR but after working 1 year 8 months, I got laid off due to shortage of work and I looking for another job but it will take easily 1 month to find another job. My question is if I start getting EI but down the road , I get invitation to apply PR, Will that effect my PR application because I stayed on EI for 1 or 2 month. If anyone being through this scenario, please reply .Thanks in advance.

No, it should not affect your potential cec application. CEC eligibility is clearly defined in the Act and this definition does not mention EI.
