I applied for PR on Nov 1st got my AOR and Biometrics letter on Feb 5th , completed Biometrics few days ago and also linked my PR portal to GC key acc.

Great , you would be able to link it now. With application number and I used family name and date of birth to link.

Hi, I got accepted in October and applied for PR on 2oth October. Received an email to provide biometrics on the 31st Jan. I believe, your update is not too far. Just have patience and wait.

I do not think you need your lawyer to apply for PR application unless you have a contract with them for the entire process.
Open an account in the portal and follow the steps.

I do not think you need your lawyer to apply for PR application unless you have a contract with them for the entire process.

Yes, on the 31st, I went for biometrics. Luckily, my daughter had her biometrics appointment for her Work Permit. She had both the biometrics, and the lady was kind enough to take my one.

Sis they are asking in imm 0008 form that do I have a valid passport/Travel document
Should i Answer Yes or No

As my passport is seized by ircc when applying for refugee application in 2020

If you have the hard copy of your NOD in the main you can apply for PR on your own. Processing is around 2 years and may get longer so if you need the help of your lawyer delaying for a week or two will not make a big difference in processing time for your PR application.
