one of my friend got a job offer from tim horton ... actually he paid a certain amount to an agent for work permit ... now the agent send him a job offer letter from tim horton... my question " is it possible he get work permit on the bases of that job letter.... he is from pakistan....
No - he can't get a work permit based on a job offer letter. He needs an approved LMIA as well. The approved LMIA is something the employer (Tim Hortons in this case) needs to obtain.
Hi, I have recieved a mail from Tim Hortons that my profile has been selected to work as manager and coordinator of Restaurant. They asked me the passport scan copies. after 1 day they sent me an agreement copy from Hamilton Law association. after I signed that, they sent me an employment certificate with job code, employer id.but they haven not demanding about money as they said they are providing everything except visa fee for immigration.it is to be paid by me in my country. Is this real or fake? please let me as soon as possible friends

It's not loading.. but remember this .. anything that's too good to believe is always a scam.. just try this trick . Ask them to take the money meant for work permit from the first month salary after you join.. or just throw this deal.. say that you'll take care of your flight once work permit gets approved but ask them to bear your visa expenses alone.. let us know what they say.
As above posts it will be a scam given would anyone really think that a coffee shop would be employing anyone directly from outside of the country when there are plenty of residents and even students competing for such jobs . A job offer for Tim Hortons to a candidate from outside Canada would be almost as ridiculous as offering a job at a McDonalds to someone outside of the country.
