I have sent my full docs by TNT.
The tracking system says it has been delivered to CHC Damascus and signed by REMA.
I have sent and inquiry to the VO and their response was:
Please be advised that Acknowledgment letter will be sent to you by email once we create your file.
Does this mean they have received the docs but not created the file yet?
Please advise.

I just wanted to ask if you consider it as a good idea to show the ecas status for each candidate on the list?
I think this could be also interesting to see when VOs start to process and how much is the usual waiting time from the time they start processing until medical is sent.
What do you think?

Yes, you are one and the only from Moscow.
I think you will be the fastest here since Moscow must be one of the least crowded CHC's.

well, according to the Statistical information: Applications processed at Canadian visa offices on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website (not allowed to post links, sorry), Cairo, Havana and Warsaw are the fastest offices - 30% of cases finalized in 3 months only. for Moscow its 6 months.
btw, does anyone know from what date do they count processing times? the date the local office receive the application or the date the file is transferred from CIO to the local office? there's no explanation on the website
If I am not mistaken it is counted from the date full documents have been received.
