hi doglover... while submitting full application to VO, can we submit original contract paper in stead of notarized. coz my frn have some more pages and for notarization he has to pay upto £5per page to solicitor in UK. He can make copy of the contract paper from the company without any cost for his future need. do u think..contract paper must be notarized? or it can be original.
If u can get another copy of original contract paper, then without any hesitation u can send those contract papers in original, CHC ll accept it, U CAN SEND ANY DOCUMENT IN ORIGINAL.

Singapore Visa Office received my full documents and had issued AOR to me on 19th February, 2010. Online status shows "Received by Visa Office". I have not yet received their nomination or any further instructions.

Academic IELTS is specially designed to test students and General IELTS for other general purpose such as immigration etc. That's why Reading and writing modules of Academic IELTS is harder and the score is accepted for both the academic and general purposes. But, since the reading and writing of General IELTS is easier and the score is not equivalent to the Academic IELTS, General IELTS is usually not accepted for academic purposes. So, any of the IELTS will do for immigration purpose. If someone is planning only immigration, then he should do General to get a better score. But If anyone plans to try out both immigration and foreign education then s/he should do academic.

it depends on the VO. for academic purpose Academic IELTS is necessary. But for general immigration purpose i have seen some cases, they need GT only. GT results is not valid for academic purpose. So, if we are applying for immigration purpose, why not GT?, easier to score the academic.
