My intution says that in couple of weeks most of us will receive our mr and before the end of august we will have our maple leaf in our passports.So cheer up guys, take steps towards your plans in canada. start working on your assessment of your qualification, because it demands lot of documents which you might not have it.Once your there in canada you need to depend on somebody here in India to help you.

received my GCMS today. What a pleasant thing, I woke up to !
I had ordered it visa lawpoint (visafileinfo) and I got it in less than a month.
We are 3 in the application, 2 adults and our 2yr daughter
Good news is, its the real IN PROCESS
They have awarded points as how I had assessed my application.
Work/Edu look genuine.
PP/Travel history: no concerns.
Criminality Passed
etc..
When instructed, they want Medical, current and old PPTsX3, RPRFX2 , Spouses MAtriculation certificate,
The VO in his notes says he is convinced that we will be able to become economically established in Canada
Also, the update date on GCMS is the date in ECAS whenthey say they have started reviewing etc

but it does mention somewhere as the Medical due date as 2013/05/10...May be I will get MR then or another officer will loot at it..I dont know. It is exactly one year from my IP date...
If they are going to send me MR on that day...then another long wait...I hope not..

You seem to have cleared most of the background checks - congrats!
Medical due date - is this a new field added to GCMS? You might want to consult seniors (Qorax, PMM, etc.)

Congrats thats its real inprocess. My timelines are also similar hope mine is also in the same lines.
Strange the medical date is next year. It does not make sense to do criminal and other checks and wait for one yr. It is actually risky for them. Lets see what happens.

thats why I am hoping that they intend to complete medicals by then and not start then..!! let me wait and watch !
also in the notes, there is no mention to request updated DOcs or POF. if they make me wait a yr to issue MR, then they would have to request these also. they only want PPT's , RPRF , spouse matriculation certificate.
I am sincerely hoping the medical due date is the date, when they want the medical to be completed, latest ! ( its like the 120 days the give for docs submission ).
