Its really good to see that most of the applicants from 'our batch' have received the maple leaf or have DM and waiting for the return of PP.
If any of you are planning to live in Mississauga and need some information ( that is already not here ( please search the forum ) or information that is not available online) please do ping me !

"6. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."
I HOPE TO GET THE PPS BACK SOON AND CONFIRM MY JOY AND HAPPINESS . PRAYING FOR MY FELLOW FORUM MEMBERS WHO ARE WAITING FOR THIS MAGICAL LINE ...ITS GOING TO COME SOON ........WAIT WITH PRAYERS..
I got the VISA tamp on my passport, 25th March 2014
but below is my current scenario, and need advise from all of you , please help........................
I am the principal applicant, me and my family are planning to travel in the month of July. My husband will stay back, and find for a job, me and my daughter are planning to come back in 15 days time.
>My question is will 15 days enough to finish all the initial formalities ?
>Is it mandatory for the Principal applicant to be available to receive the PR Cards?
My husband has a Jumbo Passport ( 20yrs valid Passport, expires in 2019, and hand written passport). We got the Visa on 25th March, we are planning to travel by July 2nd week. Now my question is that can we apply for a new passport, and then travel to Canada. ( as per the latest communication from govt of India the Jumbo passports/ hand written passports are valid only till 2015).
Is it fine to apply for new passport in-spite of Visa issues on the old passport?
Or
Can my husband apply for the new Indian passport from Canada once he lands and settles ( roughly after 6 months)

“Jesus you are my rock and salvation. You are my fortress. I shall never be shaken.I will praise you as long as I live and in your name I will lift up my hands”.Thankyou Jesus..
AT LAST, after a precariously long, exhausting and testing wait -today I RECEIVED THE PASSPORTS WITH THE MAPLE LEAF attached along with 2 copies of COPRs each, one for the CIC and one for self, in the afternoon by regd. post. A two page instructions leaflet was also attached.
A quick glance of all the COPRs suggest everything is mentioned correctly, will have to check once again leisurely.
God Bless All!!!
THANK GOD, THANKS MUCH, YOU ARE JUST AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no hard feelings for all the testing you put us all through - makes sense in the end.
Friends - please be patient - you will get your big day too - please do not get disheartened, keep moving on in life, BE POSITIVE - this helps a lot in moving forward! whether you get it or not, it has a reason. So, remember - whatever happens is for our good!
