Yes, you have a point there but I am sure that CHC also very well knows that education certificates can be bought/procred in India.
So, it is not about how it works, they have their mechanism to check if required, on the authenticity of the documents we submit.

Even our consultants suggested it to be notarized. Just tell me, what is the harm in getting them notarized?
Are we losing a fortune here or are we wasting too much time on it (if yes its not worth it) or are we compromising with the progress of our case?
So what is the harm? And, when there is no harm what is wrong in going for it?
It is the discretion of the applicant though - Mona you decide whether you want to go for it or not.

I received email from New Delhi visa office on 4/3/2013 for the following documents:
1. Medical: Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination
2. Police Certificate:
3. IMM 0008 Application:
4. Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669)
5. Additional Family Info IMM5406:
6. RPRF: Pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee for you and spouse if not already paid
7. Passport photos: Passport size photographs
8. Travel History: Proof of travel history for you and deps over the age of 18.
9. Mailing Address within India.
10. Passport/Travel Document: Valid passport or travel document Submit original and expired passports for all.
11. Submit Educational documents and Educational History form for dependants (if over the age of 22 at time of application)
12. Proof of funds : Proof of available and transferable funds that you can take to Canada

I went to Passport Office to get the PCC and they suggested I get a new passport since mine is slightly damaged and is expiring in another 6 months.
I can get a new passport in 2 days but then what will I fill in the the forms I need to send with the passport and RPRF, the old passport number or the new one?

Need to get PCC for my wife. however her passport has her parental address. Now do i need to get two different PCC? , one for my address and one for my parental address. CHD passport office has refused saying her present address has changed from the one in passport and i should get a new passport with updated address.
