I received the receipt of the VPF (Visa processing Fee) of spouse & child which i have send (Demand Draft) along with full documents. Receipt is dated 26th May 2010. My E-cas status is "Received By VO"
I too got my receipt of VPF, three days after AOR.
I think it is not really significant sign that app is in process, it just means that they have created the file and have looked at all documents and ccharged the fees as send by you
The fees is charged right away as drafts may get expired
One request, please share the information if you get to know that CHC has called anyone's office for verification, this would give an idea what is happening, also it is not for sure that they would call. What I have come to know that this time May/June and July is peak time for CHC to process maximum cases.
In between when CHC were contacting people for medical they had stop for asking PP along with RPRF. But now to make the process faster many have received medical request along with PP and RPRF, so lets keep our fingers crossed and believe for sure that we may also get similar request.

My present college and last college is under the same Organization but with differnt names.
How will the CHC VO take my case,will they verify from the college our from the Oranization as the Oranization is also headed by both Directors of the colleges.
Although i have also send letter to CHC alongwith my FULL DOCS,expalning them what i have above said.
