Is it possible that CHC New Delhi is not working for so many months. There is hardly any movement in the April forum.
According to me, CHC is working as usual and not updating the E-Cas. Prime Minister Jason Kenney stated in Chandigarh that they are performing stringent background checks to avoid any fraud and so they might not be updating the E-Cas so that we don't get cautious about verifications calls and other things.
Look guys, As I always said, don't rely much on ecas..... It is only to give an idea.... It is possible for them to not update certain status on ecas however, this is just an assumption....
In my opinion they would be working on our cases for sure. It is also the fact that, they will do strict background check now onwards as they don't want any fraud to enter in CANADA as an immigrant
this is ridiculous...2nd june applicant got medicals...he didnt had any job verification.....april\may applicants r not hearing anything and june applicant got medicals....i dnt knw wat is chc delhi upto?
[hi i was thinking if they delay a bit more we should go for caps notes that may help us to analise whats wrong and where .. even tougher background checks will not cause any harm in case we are truthful to them

I applied through a friend in Canada . Ive sent informal authorization form
he will be sending cheque of 5$ and the other form to public rights administration ..
If you dont have any friend/relative in Canada ..there are CAIPS agencies who can do this for you .
The time frame of 9 months is from the time you submit your documents to CHC, New Delhi and not when you applied to CIC, NS. You are I think March applicant, so just one month ahead us.
Download form IMM5475 and IMM5476, sign it whr applicable and send it to your relative who is either canadian citizen or pr. he has to pay 5$ for CAIPS and postage charge.
Although we have been waiting for 5 months .But here's a question that i would like you to answer urgently . One of the consultants to my Friend who is applying under the new list ( June 28, 2010 ) Onwards has been saying that if One has not sent the University Transcripts along with application to CHC ( i.e Sealed envelope from the University confirming that you have done your Graduation/PG with the respective Scores - this can be procured from(e.g) Delhi University by paying a fee of Rs 500), -one is sure to get a Query which will delay the process further .
I only submitted my Xeroxed / Original Marksheet for Graduation but Not THE TRANSCRIPT . Since , my consultant did not advice me to do so .
So, here's my question to all the senior members - a) Have you submitted transcripts authenticated from your respective universities B ) As in my case , i was not advised before ..so would you suggest i get it and send them at this stage proactively just as to avoid any unnecessary queries from CHC ?
I am really looking forward to your inputs , so please drop a line or two asap .
I also have that doubt in my mind. My consultant also did not ask me to send the transcripts, although I asked him repeatedly whether it is required or not. According to me, there is no harm in sending them or at least ordering them from Univ and keep them with us, you never know when VO will ask for them.
I would suggest after spending so much, Rs 500 is peanuts and we should procure them at the earliest.
PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW THE CORRECT AND EASIEST WAY TO GET THEM FROM DELHI UNIVERSITY. I DID GRADUATION FROM SOUTH CAMPUS.
