My timelines:
1st AOR: 9th Jan 2010
Full Docs Send to CHC N.Delhi: 6th Apr 2010
Received by CHC: 8th Apr 2010
Current Status: Received by Visa Office
2nd AOR: ????????
But till now havent received the 2nd AOR, um worried so is my consultant and he has asked me to send a letter to chc seeking a reply from them.
Do ya guys feel is it fine to send a letter or should i wait some more time.
It is definite that your consultant has missed a mail. As your status is "Received by Visa office", there is nothing to worry. Second AOR is nothing just an acknowledgement that they have received your docs. Don't send any email as that would delay. Your E-CAS is showing "Received by VO", that is enough.
Yes you will need the second AOR for future reference. Before shooting a mail, just check with the postman if you have any mail undelivered.
There are still few members who submitted their docs in April and waiting their second AOR. I would suggest wait for another week or so, and then shoot an email to CHC for your AOR.
AOR is a written confirmation from CHC that your documents have been received by them. Along with the new file number they also send you mailing labels that have bar codes on them. These labels are supposed to be pasted on any written corrospondence that you send to the CHC in future.
Is your consultant based in India or outside? In my case it took 22 days for me to get the AOR since it was sent in ordinary mail to my consultant in Canada.

My consultant is based out of N.Delhi (NCR region), in the form also we mentioned this local address only. Though he has a office in canada also.
Now He said that along with me 2 other applicants are still waiting fr the 2nd aor. So the consultant has already written a mail to the CHC for all of us. Now he asked me to mail separately as a personal mail for which i said i would wait till end of May and would like to see what reply he and other gets from chc.

you can update my time line as well documents sent to new delhi 20 april aor sent from nd 22 april which i recieved on 25 april and am awaiting medicals my noc code is 3111 e cas status recieved by visa office
