That’s just to state how the processing will look like this year. CEC is already under 6 months processing in average and I believe they just need to lower spousal a bit. While for FSW, no matter what they do this year, the average processing time will never be under 6 months, because every app is at least 1 year old. So if they promise that and at the end of the year it’s stated the average as 20 months, he will get hate lol.

my bet is on 471+ or 475+. Approximately 30K people in the pool right now. If IRCC wants to halve FHS to give room to TR2PR then 50K will likely be the allocated slot for 2023. To secure 2023 landings beginning of November 2022 is probably the latest to issue ITA.

I guess optimism never hurt anyone.

I don't know how TR2PR differs to CEC but if not CEC then they might qualify for TR2PR don't they? TR2PR is likely to have more room for 2023 than FHS.

Yes, but this is a future development, it doesn't help people whose visas are expiring now.

As i said previously, it's not a one size fits all option like an actual open draw. Already mentioned how difficult it is to get a job offer. The last PNP draw has 1,036 ITAs, that's much fewer than an all program or program specific draw. By your own standards, most FSWs should just give up because they would never be consider high skilled enough for a PNP program even if they were made available to them.

Many of you guys are feeling this level of frustration when you may never have even set foot in Canada before, imagine what their frustration is by living, studying and working here and then having to go back.



I won't deny that, but my point is everyone is getting penalised, the people who are well educated and highly skilled as well included.

Dude, your point doesn't make sense to me. How can you consider yourself high skilled when you can't get a job in 3 years or 1 year whatever you permit length. There are so many jobs right now, if you can't get one you will never get one

No one is saying someone with is a CEC candidate with a lower score than you should be prioritised, i'm just saying that reveling in them having to leave the country is ridiculous. Think about if the shoe was on the other foot.

Why do you think it's ridiculous? These folks came to Canada to study and they are obligated to return back after the completion of their study program and visa expiry. Canada has no obligation towards them to give PRs to everyone inland.
