If you look at the email that they sent, they are asking us to be patient and keep the communication/followups to be minimal. Phone calls definitely get in to GCMS notes and officer will see that you have called. I am not sure if it has any negative effects.. once or twice a month to ask for status should be okay I feel.

Hey I checked the tracker.. someone with April aor from India had his case moved to cpc Ottawa, and the case was directly finalized there instead of moving to local visa office which is new Delhi visa office. He got ppr from there, but just needed to send his passport for stamping to local new Delhi visa office. Your case is likely to follow that flow too. It's better I feel because processing Ottawa might be faster than local visa offices. I feel so because cec files move fast and they get processed in Ottawa case office
Okay.. for me the flow seems to be different. May be because of being US applicant (considered as inland?)
Medicals pass -> You application is in progress, and next step is to conduct background check (changed after medical pass) -> We are processing your background check (changed today).
I am not sure what stage it is. I am also bit nervous because my supervisor is not in US at the moment (out on vacation to India) and calls happen during this stage. If they call, and if he is unreachable, I am not sure what would happen.
Hi @comfortablynumb,
I am not aware of May 2 rejections.
Could you be kind enough to explain more on this? Cheers dude! (I am under the assumption that you are a guy)..Hehehe
@KiranK is right here. The number of days is very less(38 and 45) as compared to 60-70 . It means the applications are being processed at a very fast pace.

Yeah as May AORs are reporting very quick IP1 to NAs in most cases, so they have definitely sped up, let's just hope they speed up IP2 and PPRs as well.
ok, do you know if they send emails in all instances. I raised a CSE on the 30th of May and my status changed recently to the additional documents you provided have been uploaded. I don't know if that is confirmation that my CSE has been done.
Hi @Sulay8961,
I won't be too worried about it because mine took about 8 working days to change back to NA and someone on this forum stated that his took about 11days.
One way you might know when it changes is that your PR status on your account might change from "submitted" to "Updated" and once you've checked it, the status changes back to submitted. That was what I noticed in my case.
Just chill and check your account regularly.
Thanks a million, appreciate. I am doing the regular checks and learning a lot from you lot and everywhere else. I am like a sponge now. My elder brother and a few friends are getting on the waggon soon. I want to make the process as seamlessly as possible when they come on. I guess all we can do is wait. Patience, after all, is a virtue.

Guys, CIC definitely works in batches, I had this theory based on observations, but its more confirmed now, hoping for heavy chunky batch for AprilAORs anytime now.
