You have to give them an address inside Canada, someone you trust who will receive the card and mail it to you in the US then you can start using it no problem.

Hi
Congrats to all all those who have got PPR request (Passport back with CoPR)
I have sent my passport few days back to get my CoPR visa stamped.
I work in US (Washington state). I would want to enter Canada ASAP and return back to continue working in US as i have about 1.5 yrs work left here in US.
How do i get PR card in hand? travel to canada/US often
I do have USA visa, so would I still be entering USA and getting a refusal to entry for flagpoling? Would that cause any issues later on cuz every application one may come across asks if one was denied entry to any country?
Or would entering USA and taking a U turn say after 20 min be a safer bet? I don't get this flagpoling at all. Am I suppose to not enter USA while I have the visa to? :'(
TIA
Thanks! But I dont get the part where despite of legal entry possible into states one still have to have a refusal letter :/
Anyway if it doesn't affects me I should not seek explanations. ;D
I need to travel between this period too. that's why i sent my pp right away; it is taking around one week to get it back (give it 10 days). so i think we can travel first week in Feb. and do our landing at the airport on our way back.

It's like you are not headed to the U.S. that's why you are refused admission. I have an American visa, but they just processed me as a flag-poller stating the above reason. It's common practice.
