I drove to a border and arrived at around 8:00 pm.
There was almost no one waiting, so they processed our case right away.
The whole process took just about 15 minutes and the officer did not ask any document to prove something like funds.
One thing I would like to tell you guys is... the officer was very angry about the fact that I came to the border directly without contacting the CIC office near my place. He said that making an appointment with a CIC office is the first option and if it is not possible, you can come to a boarder. Actually, this is written on the paper that comes with CoPR.
Can alberta weather be ever predictable (smh) :-\
Good that you are done. Any idea how long is the wait time at any CIC office in Alberta? I'm considering driving too.

Thanks Uwaterloo. My lawyer gave me the tracking # and I was able to track the package while sending it and knew when the VO received it. Is that tracking # the same one or there is a new different one I should ask my lawyer to provide me with?
Thanks again,
Kerdek

I have bank statement from my home country (the one I used for application ..so it is kind of old one) + bank statement from a Canadian bank ( but it does not contain ALL the needed fund for landing for my 3-persons family) + payslips from my work at a Canadian university
