Thanks God, Wonderful news, I have just checked, it is the the same here , "We started processing your application on August 26, 2014."
Till yesterday, there was nothing, regarding the year, I guess it is an error, it should be 2015 not 2014 ....
What about the others?.

Guys breaking news!
New line added to my ecas status:
We started processing your application on 26th August 2014
So it says 2014 not 2015...which is strange.. But at least it's some news to break the deadly silence
Nothing received so far in terms of MR or anything else
I thought it is a mistake because, today is 26 of Aug, and they updated the system today and me and MidWiz got the same date....
But, after your submitted yours, it is clear, the date is correct.
One more note, hope will be positive .. I checked my GCMS report, and it shows that my file reached CPC-Ottawa on 26-Aug-2014 (before it got transferred to Emababa VO in Sep), so this may mean that Ottawa VO is processing our files .... let us wait and see.

ALL applications are sent to CIO in nova scotia (we call it federal), and then CIO would do some work on the file and them send it to the visa officer which will process the file till the end.
For us, CIO sometimes send some files to Ottawa and others to Embaba VO, I think depends on workload in each office.
Hope it is clear now.

It depends on the VO, I saw cases took more than 6 months, others, in less than a month.
It is a patience game bro ... we all can (and should) pray ....

Oh, to be honest I didn't see this, but we hope so...
In my opinion, our cases are different as it has been a year since VO has received our applications, besides, I think we are few who got their files stuck in Embaba VO ... so hope when they start, they finish fast.
Again it depends on VO ...

yes, you are right.
one more point; I think we need to call CIC again to know where the files are now, I think by now they should be able to tell us where the files are exactly.
I will try to call them again today, please everyone here try to call them and extract this information from them
Yes, very good point, we tell them that today we have seen this update on ECAS and ask about the processing VO ...
Let us do our homework
