Yes correct, just a small thing, it is UCI not UCID, just to keep the terminologies consistent .

I'am really disappointed and need to hear something from them soon, lot of changes are happening nowadays in my life and I need to have a clear direction of how things will go
don't know what to do

In all cases, even if they started processing our files now, it will take at least 6-8 months to finalize them.

Did anyone try to call Embaba VO over the phone?

I don't think this apply in our case, no one got his file processed in Cairo VO except us

Correct, only us are processed in Embaba VO.

However check "faster" processing offices, like Ottawa (11 months) and you calculate the average.

We hope it goes faster than what I said ..

For Emababa VO it is 25 months since receiving the file! means for us since Sep 2014, so we should get the visa by Oct 2016 (25 months since they received the files).

So suppose they will start now working on our files, they still have 14 months to finish them (as per their processing times)...

The only good thing is the email they sent on May saying they are will start working on our files soon !!.

Guys breaking news!

New line added to my ecas status:

We started processing your application on 26th August 2014

So it says 2014 not 2015...which is strange.. But at least it's some news to break the deadly silence

Nothing received so far in terms of MR or anything else
